Composed of a group of inspirational musicians and skillful performers, the artists behind Stone Clouds live and breathe to entertain a new style of music, and relate to any situation that many a person may go through in life. From live studio sessions, to street performances, even goals of live venues, they wish to inspire fans around the world with their distinct and enjoyable musical style. STONE CLOUDS
Robbie Floyd and Justin Strauss have been friends for years, over time they shared an interest in music, as well as in interest in their instruments. Day to day they would sit in a small room and throw random ideas out and from there on the inspiration grew. As the lads grew older, the material became more and more mature. Through mutual friends came Tom Heimbach and Ryan Baker. Tom Heimbach has been a part of a few cover bands, with very little interest to Robbie Floyd’s and Justin Strauss’s request that he try out the band. One day, just to shut them up (Mr. Floyd & Mr. Strauss) he had agreed to do one dry run with them bringing along Ryan Baker at Mr. Floyd’s request! Little to their surprise they showed up blind not knowing what Robbie and Justin had in store for them. They were not a cover band for sure. As Robbie and Justin introduced the originality of their material, interest started to grow rapidly from Tom and Ryan. Needless to say from day one, the Stone Clouds had now had a full band. Something that Mr. Floyd and Mr. Strauss were not used to hearing with the new sound behind their works. To everyone’s surprise the band gets along very well, and have grown tighter than they ever thought possible. Mr. Heimbach and Mr. Baker has introduced their own material that they had, as well as the continuation of each musician sharing ideas. The Stone Clouds consist of Robbie Floyd- Composer, Songwriter, Guitar, Vocals Ryan Baker- Composer,Guitar, Bass Tom Heimbach- Composer, Drummer Justin Strauss- Composer, Songwriter, Producer/Production, Lead Guitar, Bassist. Occasionally George Strauss- Guitar, sound engineer.
Each musician continues to exploit their talent and creativity, all with the same goal in mind to entertain and preform their hearts out!
